Our Story

Who We Are
We are China United Education Assistance Foundation (CUEAF), a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit based in Indiana. Registered in 2009, we are dedicated to improving rural education in China and fostering educational and cultural exchanges between China and the U.S. CUEAF is a partner organization of the Tianjin United Education Assistance Foundation (TUEAF), with whom we collaborate to implement our education assistance programs in China.

What We Are Doing
We are providing opportunities for children to receive a better education. Some of our key programs include book corners, happy classrooms for left-behind children, student field trips, school improvements, teacher training, and scholarships. We also look for opportunities to develop education assistance programs for disadvantaged schools in U.S. communities.

Education has a lasting influence. Limited education in childhood and adolescence has a negative impact on children’s academic success and personal development throughout the school years. It leads to a cumulative disadvantage for children long term, and substantially reduces the chances for success in their adult lives. We are working closely with rural schools, teachers, and partner organizations to help more kids receive a better education.

What Our Impact Is So Far
TUEAF started in 2005 and has been dedicated to serving disadvantaged students in China ever since that time. During the past decade, we have provided funding to over 500 rural schools across China to improve school conditions. With the support of many individuals, corporations, and other organizations, such as Target, and United Way Worldwide, more than 160,000 students and teachers in rural schools have benefited from our programs.

We believe that TOGETHER we can achieve MORE.

Join us in empowering children's lives through education!
